Hackers ordered to return or delete data stolen from two London NHS trusts

A High Court judge has ordered the hackers who caused over 10,000 NHS appointments to be cancelled to reveal their identities and return stolen data. The Qilin cyber gang targeted pathology services provider Synnovis in June, obtaining patient medical information and prompting a warning about outdated NHS IT systems. The judge’s interim injunction also includes an anti-hacking injunction to prevent further attacks.
