US Government Invests $50M in Automating Hospital Cybersecurity Defense

The US government’s Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) has pledged over $50 million to fund UPGRADE, a program aiming to improve hospital cybersecurity by automating the process of addressing vulnerabilities and threats. The innovative program aims to minimise downtime, protect patient care from cyber threats, automatically patch vulnerabilities and develop custom defences.
