After the cyberattack on healthcare organization Change Healthcare, ransomware gang BlackCat/ALPHV has claimed responsibility but denied using the ConnectWise vulnerabilities for initial access. The attack, which resulted in a shutdown of over 111 services, has drastically affected healthcare organizations, causing issues such as problems processing prescriptions, and impacting pharmacies globally. Healthcare providers are now trying to maintain business continuity while the incident, believed to be the work of rebranded group DarkSide, continues to be investigated.
