HHS dedicates $50M to development of autonomous cyber defense tools

HHS has launched the Universal PatchinG and Remediation for Autonomous DEfense (UPGRADE) program, with a $50m investment for developing autonomous security tools for hospitals. Led by the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), the program aims to foster collaboration between hospital IT staff, equipment manufacturers, and cybersecurity experts to develop a cyber-resilience software suite for hospitals.
