Fitterfly, an Indian digital therapeutics firm, is partnering with Google Cloud to launch Fitterfly Klik, an AI feature that lets people with diabetes monitor their meals. The feature uses Gemini 1.5 Flash on Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform, allowing users to photograph their food and get a detailed nutritional breakdown. The app can identify Indian and international dishes from a database of over 37,000 options.
