One-third of Healthcare Websites Still Use Meta Pixel Tracking Code

Lokker has analysed healthcare websites and found that 33% use Meta Pixel tracking codes, risking lawsuits, data breaches, and fines for non-compliance with the HIPAA rules. Additionally, 98.6% of US hospitals use at least one tracking code on their website that transfers data to third parties. Despite warnings and regulations, healthcare institutions continue to use these tracking technologies, often resulting in data breaches and expensive lawsuits.
