A potential cyber attack on Florida’s Department of Health’s online system caused temporary outages. A hacker group claimed the breach, targeting the Vital Statistics system which handles marriage, divorce, birth and death certificates. The Department is working with law enforcement and carrying out a comprehensive assessment. Most systems and services remain operational, the Department assured.
