China Medical University Hospital in Taiwan has been recognized for its digital maturity, including a top global ranking for the HIMSS Digital Health Indicator. Hospital Superintendent, Dr Der-Yang Cho, is leading the digital transformation including utilizing AI to improve diagnosis and treatment strategies. The hospital has launched the ‘gHi-Intelligent Healthcare System’ in collaboration with Microsoft Taiwan and has developed systems with Google to support clinical decisions and patient education.
‘Out of date’ IT system leaves NHS at risk of further cyber attacks
