The US Health Sector Cybersecurity Coordination Center (HC3) has issued an alert regarding vulnerabilities in Baxter Welch Allyn medical equipment. The flaws, scored 9 or higher on the Common Vulnerability Scoring System, could lead to the exposure of credentials or allow an attacker to manipulate device configuration. Baxter is to address one issue via software update but the second fix isn’t expected until the third quarter of 2024.
