The company stated the irregularities didn’t impact customer data or the product environment and focused on ensuring the system’s integrity. This move followed reports of nation-state attacks, facilitated via TeamViewer, targeting different entities. TeamViewer’s platform, deployed in setting up large networks of devices, has previously been linked to cyberattacks, such as by Chinese hackers.
