High-severity vulnerabilities affect a wide range of Asus router models

Hardware manufacturer Asus has released updates to multiple critical vulnerabilities affecting its router models. One vulnerability allows hackers to remotely take control of a router without any authentication. Asus has advised router owners to regularly check for updates, use strong and unique passwords, and disable services accessible from the internet. No exploits of these vulnerabilities have been reported, but routers are often targeted by hackers.
