Three terabytes of personal information including X-ray results and letters of complaint from patients and NHS workers were published on May 6. NHS Dumfries and Galloway assured its systems are secure but didn’t disclose how the data leak occurred. The authority has contacted every household in the region to provide advice and reassure them.
