Synnovis, a pathology services provider in London, has been severely hit by a cyber attack by a group called Qilin. The attack has disrupted services at various hospitals and primary care services in south-east London. Former chief executive of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Ciaran Martin, called it a “very serious incident”. The NCSC believes Qilin is a group of Russian cyber criminals.
