This is what makes most healthcare institutes vulnerable to hacker attacks

A new study by UK-based cybersecurity firm Sophos has found that nearly 60% of global healthcare organisations fell victim to a cyber attack in the past year, with 75% suffering data encryption in a ransomware attack. The report highlighted that compromised login credentials were the primary cause of these attacks. Despite a decrease in ransom payments from 61% last year to 42%, organisations are taking longer to recover, with only 47% managing to bounce back within a week.
