Desert Oasis Healthcare introduced the Wellth platform to help improve the adherence of patients to their medication and care plans. The technology incentivises patient participation and compliance using loss aversion techniques and recurring incentives. Results showed improvement in medication adherence rates from around 40-50% to 90%. The platform also resulted in a 29% reduction in inpatient utilization, a 24% reduction in ER utilization, and improvements in antidepressant and RAS medication adherence.
