Eleven security vulnerabilities have been found in General Electric (GE) Healthcare’s ultrasound devices, according to a report by Nozomi Networks. The report details that malicious actors with physical access to the devices could implant ransomware or access patient data. In response, GE Healthcare has said that safety risks have been regulated and are as low as possible. However, cybersecurity experts and firms have expressed skepticism over these claims.
