Urology network United Urology Group faced a cyber attack on May 4, with hacker group RansomHouse claiming to have encrypted the company’s systems and exfiltrated about 300GB of files, including personal health and corporate internal information. RansomHouse accuses the group of multiple HIPAA violations, although DataBreaches.net argues this may be exaggerated. The company hasn’t yet responded to inquiries about their response to the attack.
