Salesforce is reportedly in advanced talks to acquire data management firm Informatica, in what could become one of the company’s largest acquisitions. Informatica’s cloud-based enterprise data management service would allow Salesforce to access new cloud products and artificial intelligence capabilities. However, the potential deal could attract regulatory scrutiny and could even fall through.
