Nearly 3M people hit in Harvard Pilgrim healthcare data theft • The Register

Nearly 2.9 million people have been affected in a data theft at Harvard Pilgrim, with data including names, addresses, and social security numbers compromised. This is an increase from the 2.6 million individuals reported in February. The original breach took place in March 2023, and the company believes data was extracted before the intrusion was discovered in April 2023. Harvard Pilgrim has been updating the total number of victims and providing credit monitoring and identity protection services.
