A data breach at Infosys McCamish, a financial software provider, has exposed personal data, including Social Security numbers, of 57,028 Bank of America deferred compensation customers. The breach, carried out by the ransomware group LockBit, took place on 3 November, though customers were notified only on 2 February. The customers held deferred compensation plans, a type of tax-advantaged retirement plan for high earners.
