HHS-HC3 calls for immediate hospital action to protect against ‘Citrix Bleed’ vulnerability and ransomware threat

The Health Sector Cybersecurity Coordination Center has warned hospitals to defend against the “Citrix Bleed” ransomware threat by patching and strengthening network systems. The ransomware, often targeted by groups such as LockBit 3.0, allows cyber attackers to bypass password and multifactor authentication measures. This vulnerability is especially serious as ransomware attacks can disrupt healthcare delivery and endanger patients.
