Organizations invest more in data protection but recover less

A Veeam Software report claims that 92% of organisations plan to increase spending on data protection in 2024 to defend against ransomware and cyberattacks. Although businesses are focusing more on cloud usage for recovery, few feel they could recover quickly from a small-scale crisis. Meanwhile, 76% of organisations experienced at least one cyberattack in the last 12 months, with 26% being attacked a minimum of four times. Data protection budgets are predicted to rise by 6.6% in 2024.
