Microsoft is ramping up its efforts against misinformation and deepfakes ahead of the US 2024 Presidential Elections, using its AI chatbot, ChatGPT, to provide credible information related to voting. The company will be collaborating with the National Association of Secretaries of State, funneling Windows 11 users to the official election website. The AI chatbot will also utilise a digital credential to authenticate generated images, an effort supported by numerous tech companies including Adobe, Google, and Facebook.
