The rise in demand for private General Practitioner (GP) services in the UK is predicted to drive growth in the private GP Electronic Health Record (EHR) market, according to a report by ResearchAndMarkets. The study attributes this forecast growth partly to consumer preference for the private sector following a decline in the National Health Service’s (NHS) GP numbers. Technological advancements are also expected to play a critical role in market growth, however, cyber-security concerns could limit adoption among some healthcare providers.
