Trustwave SpiderLabs has warned that the use of large language models and generative artificial intelligence in healthcare increases the cybersecurity risk. The firm advises hospitals to upgrade their security operation centres to counteract potential threats. Trustwave’s report indicates that over 28.5 million healthcare records were breached in 2022, an increase from 21.1 million in 2019.
