Cybersecurity firm McAfee found the malware attached to 25 applications distributed on the Google Play Store since mid-2020, with over 327,000 installations. A majority of the infections have been detected in Brazil, Argentina, the UK, Australia, the US, Mexico, and parts of Europe and the Americas.
