FDA warns of fake Ozempic shots

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning against counterfeit Ozempic (semaglutide) weight-loss shots found in the supply chain. The FDA and manufacturer Novo Nordisk are investigating and testing seized products. Consumers and healthcare providers are warned not to use products labelled with specific serial numbers. The pens, needles, and information have been found to be counterfeit, posing potential health risks. The FDA recommends buying only through authorized distributors and state-licensed facilities.
