Google has released security patches for Chrome to address a high-severity flaw, identified as CVE-2023-7024. The vulnerability lies in the WebRTC framework and may cause crashes or arbitrary code execution. Discovered and reported by members of Google’s Threat Analysis Group, the flaw is the eighth Chrome zero-day exploited in 2023. Updates are available for Chrome and Chromium-based browsers.
