North Korean hackers, known as Andariel, have launched three global attacks exploiting Log4Shell to gain access to systems. The group has developed three new remote access Trojans (RATs) in the “D” (aka dlang) programming language, which is unusual, making detection harder. The hackers have notably targeted an agricultural organization in South America, a European manufacturing company, and a US subsidiary of a Korean physical security company.
