Sellafield nuclear site hacked by groups linked to Russia and China | Energy industry

UK’s most hazardous nuclear site, Sellafield, has been compromised by cyber groups linked to Russia and China, according to the Guardian. The site, which authorities are unsure when it was breached, was found to contain sleeper malware in its system as far back as 2015. Investigations into the extent of assimilated data and ongoing risks were obfuscated by a failure to notify nuclear regulators for several years.
