Biden’s Got a New Set of Orders for Obamacare. Is It His Last?

The Biden administration has proposed changes to Obamacare insurance plans scheduled to take effect in 2025. These include states with their own ACA marketplaces enforcing “network adequacy”, ensuring sufficient doctors and hospitals are included in insurers’ covered networks. Other amendments include potential expansion of routine adult dental coverage and standardized open enrolment dates. This comes amid a potential presidential contest between Biden, a supporter of the ACA, and Trump, who opposes it.
