A former Motorola technician, Andrew Mahn, has pleaded guilty to stealing data from Motorola. While working for the Massachusetts Port Authority, Mahn sent phishing emails to 31 Motorola employees, gaining login credentials which allowed him to infiltrate the company’s system, unlock radio equipment features, and commit passport and wire fraud. He now faces up to 30 years in jail and a potential half a million dollar fine.
