Konni RAT malware is being distributed through malicious macros in Microsoft Word files, according to researchers at FortiGuard Labs. The malware, which has previously targeted Russia and North Korea, steals credentials and commands access to files. It emerges when users are tricked into opening legitimate-looking attachments. Antimalware software can potentially detect and block the threat.
