4M NYers’ data and medical records were exposed in a breach. Here’s how to protect against ID theft.

The private information of up to four million New Yorkers could be at risk following an attack on medical transcription company, Perry Johnson & Associates. The firm works with Northwell Health, a healthcare provider with locations across the five boroughs and Long Island, and Crouse Health in Syracuse, among others.
