Japan Medical Device Corporation (JMD) is developing a heart simulator, known as UT-Heart, which can accurately replicate all crucial aspects of a beating heart. The technology is aimed at facilitating the prediction and diagnosis of heart conditions, simplifying early detection and making the process accessible to more patients. The simulator employs a multiscale, multiphysics approach to replicate the molecular details of the heart’s functions. JMD is also working on an AI model to diagnose heart conditions based on vast datasets of virtual heart models.
