Popular social engineering campaign, previously targeted at Windows systems, has expanded to MacOS using fake browser updates to distribute Atomic Stealer malware. The shift marks the first time a predominantly Windows-focused scam has shifted to MacOS. The malware, surfaced earlier this year and now has purportedly been spread via cracked versions of popular apps and software.
