Remote patient monitoring (RPM) has grown significantly due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with estimates suggesting that 30 million Americans will use RPM devices by 2024 and the global market reaching $1.7 billion by 2027. However, the expansion of RPM brings complexity and the need for effective quality assurance strategies. These strategies must address device availability, connectivity and usability, accuracy, reliability and security of data, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
