Arid Viper Steals Sensivide data From Android & Deploy Malware

Arabic-speaking Android users have become the target of a cyber espionage group known as the “Arid Viper”. The group, which is believed to be linked to Islamist group Hamas, appears to have used fake dating apps to gather data. The malware used by the group is similar to the real dating app “Skipped”, raising questions about the connection between the app’s developers and the threat actors. A report about the malware has been published by Cisco Talos with a GitHub repository containing related Indicators of Compromise.
