Discord plans to fight malware by changing to temporary file links for users by the end of the year. The links will refresh every 24 hours to block malware delivery. The move will have no impact on users sharing content within the Discord client. Previously, Discord’s file hosting capabilities had been exploited to distribute malware and expose data.
