Discord will switch to temporary file links to block malware delivery

Discord will shift to temporary file links to prevent attackers from using its Content Delivery Network (CDN) for distributing malware. From the end of the year, Discord server links will expire after 24 hours, and three new parameters will add expiration times and signatures to ensure CDN cannot be used for permanent file hosting. The changes, aimed at increasing security, will only affect links shared outside Discord servers.
