Medicare Expands the Roster of Available Mental Health Professionals

New legislative and regulatory changes are set to expand mental health services covered by Medicare in the USA. Additionally, Medicare will add up to 19 hours of intensive outpatient care weekly as a benefit and expand mobile crisis services. However, questions remain around payment levels and oversight of coverage within Medicare Advantage plans.
