A new malware linked to North Korean hackers, Lazarus Group, has been discovered on Apple’s macOS, targeting blockchain engineers. The “KandyKorn” malware can retrieve data, list directories, upload/download files, terminate processes and execute commands. The malware infects users’ computers via Python-based modules spread through Discord channels. The Lazarus Group primarily targets the cryptocurrency sector, highlighting the macOS’s vulnerability to sophisticated malwares created by the group.
