Nearly half of UK businesses experienced a cyber attack in the past year, up from 44% to 48%, according to the Cyber Readiness Report by insurance specialist Hiscox. Cyber incidents led to a median loss of over £19,000 for businesses, and companies with over 1,000 employees suffered median costs of around £71,692.
