R1 RCM Inc. is collaborating with Microsoft to accelerate the development and integration of AI into R1’s healthcare revenue cycle management platform. The company’s technology, which includes automations, workflows and algorithms to reduce costs and drive revenues in healthcare, will use Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service and other Azure AI services to introduce new product capabilities fast. Its customer base, including 95 of the largest 100 health systems in the U.S., allows for broad visibility into industry revenue cycle data.
