The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has accused software provider SolarWinds and its Chief Information Security Officer, Timothy Brown, of defrauding investors by overstating cybersecurity measures ahead of a key data breach. Although the CFO, J. Barton Kalsu, was warned during the investigation, he hasn’t been named in the lawsuit.
