Scotland has a new restaurant of the year following prestigious award ceremony

The Pierhouse Hotel & Seafood Restaurant in Port Appin, Argyll, was named National Restaurant of the Year at the Hotels of the Year Scotland Awards 2023-24. Its head chef, Michael Leathley, utilises fresh, local seafood in their Michelin Guide-recognised restaurant. The Wee Hotel Company-owned establishment also received plaudits for management, with General Manager Fiona McLean winning Senior Manager of the Year.
