Cybersecurity experts from Dr. Web have identified a list of Android apps and games that contain hidden malicious software. Some of the apps had been downloaded over half a million times before being removed from the Google Play Store. The infected apps used techniques to hide from the user and showed unending ads, even when closed. Some of the apps also contained the famous Joker malware, which can subscribe the user to premium services without consent.
