These Trojans initiate fraudulent schemes, prompting malicious ads and emails. Some 200 Android device models could potentially be affected. The solution is to be cautious when buying such boxes, researching the brand before purchase, and avoiding clicking on ads. Although Google removed the malicious apps from their Play Store, the vulnerability remains.
