Reassessing the Impacts of Risk Management With NIST Framework 2.0

Global cyberattacks rose by 38% in 2022, making cybersecurity a top concern. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) updated its Cybersecurity Framework to help businesses mitigate risks. Emphasizing continuous and quantitative risk assessment, continuous improvement, strengthening supply chain risk management and enhancing implementation examples were the four main themes shared. NIST’s framework also encourages the effective use of AI and automation in addressing cybersecurity threats.
