Staffordshire and Shropshire Health Informatics Service (S&SHIS) has partnered with tech solutions provider Cisco to bolster its cybersecurity operations. Cisco’s system allows S&SHIS to link organisations’ digital systems together while ensuring data is protected. While this broadens the attack surface for cyber threats, Cisco’s system is focused on mitigating this risk and ensuring patient care data is protected. This includes methods to track network activity, identity and block unapproved device access, and isolate threats.
